Canadian.Partners is one of the consulting brands of the Sedighi.ca and SAZ.ca group, a Canadian company with its head office in Vancouver, British Columbia. It has a narrow purpose: to offer established businesses across Canada a growth partner whose pay depends on measurable results. Ali Sedighi, MBA, leads it and is personally responsible for every partnership.

Why this brand exists

Because many owners have paid for advice or marketing and been unable to tell whether it worked. The usual response is to ask for more reports. Our response is to change the arrangement: agree what a result is, write it down, and let a meaningful part of the adviser's reward depend on it.

That isn't right for every business, and we say so often. But for an established company with clean numbers and room to grow, it changes the conversation. Instead of discussing what was done last month, the partners discuss what moved and what to do next. The Growth Partner Program page describes the structure.

Ali Sedighi, MBA

Ali Sedighi holds an MBA in Technology Management and has more than 17 years of experience, starting in 2007. That year he founded ONE.ir, a full-service digital marketing agency. He now lives and works in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Since then he has founded:

  • Conv.ca, a conversion-rate optimisation agency
  • MyAutomation.ca
  • SAZ.ca (Strategy & Acceleration Zone), where he is Founder & Managing Partner

He has worked with clients in Canada, the USA and Dubai, and has built more than 150 live HVAC websites, including CombiBoiler.ca, HVACDeal.ca and HeatLand. Those heating and cooling projects are where most of the group's published case studies come from, and the results page presents them as results from our HVAC work rather than as evidence about other industries.

More about Ali is on his Sedighi.ca profile and his SAZ.ca founder page.

The group behind the brand

Canadian.Partners sits inside a group of Canadian consulting companies, each with a defined role.

  • Sedighi.ca is Ali Sedighi's growth, marketing and technology consulting company. Its brand family takes in HVAC.Agency, HVAC.Digital and Trades.Agency on the trades side, plus Conv.ca and BusinessConsulting.ca. See Sedighi.ca.
  • SAZ.ca (the name stands for Strategy & Acceleration Zone) handles the group's strategy, AI and revenue-acceleration consulting in Canada. Ali Sedighi founded it, and Sedighi.ca provides its strategic leadership.
  • BusinessConsulting.ca publishes the group's consulting services and price ranges at businessconsulting.ca, which is where our fixed-fee rates come from.

How we work

Slowly at the start, then steadily. A partnership asks both sides to trust the numbers, so we spend more time on measurement than most advisers would. In practice:

  1. We talk first. A free conversation about what you sell and how customers find you.
  2. We check readiness. Records, capacity, decision-making and anything distorting recent results. See the readiness review.
  3. We agree the scorecard. A shared growth scorecard defines every result in writing.
  4. We put terms on paper. The specific terms are agreed case by case and set out in a written agreement, which you should have your own lawyer review.
  5. We do the work and review it. Regularly, against the scorecard, with decisions written down.

Ali works with owners across the country by video call or in person, as well as by phone, text and email, and reads your numbers in the systems you already use.

Why the program is limited

Because the person doing the work is the person who signed the agreement. A results-based arrangement only makes sense if the partner has time to think hard about your business, read the scorecard properly and make decisions with you. That puts a natural ceiling on how many partnerships can run at once. We'd rather say "not right now" than take on a partnership we can't give proper attention.

What we won't do

Some limits are part of the offer.

  • We won't promise a result. Nobody can, honestly.
  • We won't publish a standard revenue share or minimum, because one formula would be unfair to most businesses.
  • We won't give legal, tax, lending or securities advice.
  • We won't take on a partnership we don't believe can be measured fairly.

If that sounds like the kind of partner you want, call, text or email. The contact page explains what to send.

Frequently asked questions

Who owns Canadian.Partners?

Canadian.Partners is part of the Sedighi.ca and SAZ.ca group of companies. Sedighi.ca is Ali Sedighi's growth, marketing and technology consulting company, and SAZ.ca is the group's consulting firm for strategy, AI and revenue acceleration.

Is there a team behind Ali?

Ali Sedighi is the person you deal with and the person responsible for every partnership. If any other help is involved in a piece of work, that is agreed with you and set out in the scope or agreement.

Where are you located?

Our head office is in Vancouver, British Columbia. Partnerships work the same everywhere, so an owner in Moncton or Yellowknife meets with us the same way as one in Burnaby: by video call or in person, as well as by phone, text and email.

Do you give legal or accounting advice?

No. We provide business and marketing consulting. Partnership agreements should be reviewed by your own lawyer, and tax questions belong with your accountant.
