How the Growth Partner Program is priced

It is priced in the agreement, not on this page. What we can tell you is how the conversation works:

  1. We agree what a result is and how it is recorded, using a shared growth scorecard.
  2. We agree a baseline: what the business would likely do without the partnership.
  3. Only then do we discuss how payment follows results, when it is calculated, and how the arrangement can end.

We don't publish a revenue share, minimum or term length, and we'd be cautious of anyone who quotes you one before seeing your numbers. The program page lists what the written agreement should cover.

What moves a fixed-fee quote

Scope, data and decisions. Within each range, the price depends on:

  • How much is being produced. A focused assessment costs less than a full growth plan with research.
  • The state of your records. Clean monthly reports save time; numbers scattered across spreadsheets take longer to reconcile.
  • The number of decisions supported. One market question is simpler than a launch across several provinces.
  • Ongoing involvement. Retainers vary with how much advisory and execution support is included each month.

Your proposal sets out the price, the deliverables and the payment milestones before you commit.

A quick way to compare

Compare options by the risk you carry, not only by the cost. An illustration with made-up figures:

Fixed-fee project Performance partnership
Cost known in advance Yes Depends on results, per the agreement
Who carries the risk of no result Mostly you Shared
Records needed Helpful Essential
Best when You want a plan or answer at a known price Results are measurable and there's room to grow

If you value certainty of cost, a project or retainer is often the better choice even when a partnership is available. If you value shared risk and your numbers are clean, a partnership may suit you better.

What you won't find on this page

No published revenue share, minimum, term or eligibility threshold for the partnership. Those are agreed case by case and set out in the written agreement, because the right answer depends on your margins, sales cycle and what can be measured. You also won't find promises of results. If someone offers you a performance price before seeing your numbers, our guide on vetting a performance partner explains why that is a reason for caution.

Sales tax, invoices and other costs

Every fee carries your province's sales tax: 5% GST in the West and the territories, 13% to 15% HST in Ontario and Atlantic Canada, or 5% GST plus 9.975% QST in Quebec. Any other cost, such as advertising spend paid to platforms or third-party software, should be named in your proposal or agreement along with who pays it. If something isn't written down, ask us to confirm it in writing. No lock-in is part of how we work; the exact notice and exit terms for your engagement are set out in your proposal or agreement.

For questions about which option fits, read the FAQ or call, text or email through the contact page.

Frequently asked questions

Why isn't the partnership price published?

Because it depends on what can be measured, your margins and the scope of work. A single published formula would be wrong for most businesses, so the specific terms are agreed case by case and set out in writing.

Do prices include sales tax?

No. Prices are in Canadian dollars, and partners add GST/HST for their province (GST and QST in Quebec).

Is the first conversation free?

Yes. The initial 30-minute consultation is free, with no obligation.

Are there other fees I should know about?

Anything you would pay is set out in your written proposal or agreement before you commit. If a cost isn't written there, ask us to add it or confirm in writing that it doesn't apply.
